Public sightseeing cruises begin on Saturday, May 28

Pearl is the perfect venue for sightseeing cruises, sunset dinner cruises, and private charters!

Weddings, family reunions, employee and customer appreciation, or any other occasion is more fun aboard Pearl of the Lake! We offer catering, and the Pearl has a full-service bar on board, with all your favorite wines and spirits. She also has a fully enclosed climate controlled lower deck  and an open air upper deck that seats 52. Total seating is for 125 people.

“Pearl of the Lake” is a modern-day replica of the grand riverboats that traveled on the Mississippi River in the 1800’s. True to tradition, her only means of propulsion is the twin paddlewheels in the stern.

Her name emphasizes the historic significance shared by paddlewheel boats and the freshwater pearl industry on the upper Mississippi River. The mussels that produce fresh water pearls are very sensitive to pollution and an important indicator of water clarity.

It is our mission to help educate people about the history and environmental factors that impact our great River.
